Adobe PDF® Conversions

microMEDIA has specialized in PDF conversion services for more than ten years.  We exclusively use Adobe software, not competitor's products.  Our PDF conversion projects have included a wide spectrum of media:

• Paper (files, bound volumes, reports)

• Micrographics (microfilm, microfiche, aperture cards)

• Photographic slides and transparencies

microMEDIA's professionals are specialists at working with PDF files.  We not only convert all of the media above, but can provide color and grayscale files if appropriate.  Providing Bookmarks is one of the ways we use to make PDF files more friendly and usable for casual viewers.  Large collections of data are catalogued and indexed for instant access to the appropriate documents, whether on CD, DVD or maintained on high-capacity network disk drives.

Searchable files can be delivered from electronic media or scanned images that are processed using Adobe Capture.  Scanned documents are generally converted onsite by our professional staff.

Our extensive data capture and keying capabilities allow us to correct OCR misreads and index PDF files efficiently and extremely accurately.  Sensitive documents can be completely converted onsite at your location, those that must be done in the U.S., but can leave the site, will be done at our operations center in New York and those that have no geographical prerequisites can be done offshore at the most economical rates.  No matter where the work is done, extensive quality control and inspection assures you of the same high-degree of accuracy of data and image quality.

PDF files can be transmitted directly to clients via high-speed FTP connections that are securely maintained including Virtual Private Networks.  We also offer web based document management, hosting the PDF files on our redundant and secure server.  Of course, files can be recorded to CDs, DVDs or even magnetic tapes and then delivered overnight.

microMEDIA is vendor independent and interfaces with almost every imaging software and hardware vendor.

We deliver appropriately catalogued PDF files to imaging systems from Alchemy®, Documentum®, FileNET® , IBM® plus many others that can be found on our affiliates page.
